Trek Assessment 02

2. Describe, with details, two situations during Trek 01 and/or 02 in which you felt unusually peaceful, at ease, or contemplative.


During Trek 01, I was very peaceful when the wind was blowing gently and I could hear the chimes in the distance. In fact, when I deeply listened into the headphones, closed my eyes, and began to create visualizations of what it was I could be hearing, I found myself entranced by the possibilities. I felt like a voyeur of sound! During Trek 02, I felt at ease when simply walking around and taking pictures of numerous things that interested me, some of which did not necessarily go into my Trek 02 project but still captivated me. One situation was what I believed was a raccoon digging into someone's garbage and eating it. I was recording it from afar and realizing how magnificent it was to actually see this happening, imagining the unnecessarily upset reaction that the owners would have when they saw the mess this hungry animal had left.
